Gendron-DeVette : certified LEED Gold
Sitting pretty in the middle of a mature forest, this house was designed with the purpose of being a gathering place for our clients’ now-grown children whenever they visit. Multipurpose rooms allow our different configurations of the spaces, according to their needs. Specifically, the master bedroom can be sectioned off in two bedrooms with French doors and an office space can quickly become a makeshift bedroom, thanks to a murphy bed.
The efficiency of the house is thought to last through the seasons and the years, with a sustainable house envelope, triple-glazed windows, and a sunshade incorporated into the roof. Finally, the eclectic mix of old and new furniture offers a fun contrast with the contemporary architecture.
